The beauty in Southwest Florida and the areas surrounding my home town of Cape Coral often make me stop in my tracks and say WOW! Sometimes it’s in the middle of the day while I go about my life. Sometimes it’s when I’m out for a day of leisure.

This photo is from my collection. I took it 6 years ago when my husband and I were out for a day on our boat. Some days when my days are stressing me out, I look at this photo and instantly feel calmer.

If you’re looking for a place of beauty to call home, you can’t go wrong with my home town of Cape Coral. Our City has many parks, waterfront communities with walkable promenades open to the public, walking trails, biking trails, natural environmental areas with raised boardwalks and more. And there’s always boating or just sitting on shore in one of many places just staring at the water.

I’m glad my husband and I chose Cape Coral 30 years ago. You will too.
