Property tax bills are mailed each November, and if you pay before the deadline, you’ll receive a discount. It’s an easy way to keep a little extra money in your pocket—perfect for a waterfront dinner, a day on the boat, or a weekend exploring our gorgeous beaches.

💰 Save with Early Payment Discounts

✔️ 4% Discount – Pay in November
✔️ 3% Discount – Pay in December
✔️ 2% Discount – Pay in January
✔️ 1% Discount – Pay in February
✔️ No Discount – Pay in March
⚠️ April 1 – Taxes become delinquent

Helpful Tip: If one of the discount deadlines falls on a weekend or holiday, you’ll have until the next business day to receive your discount.

If you’ve recently purchased a home, don’t be surprised if you have questions about your property’s assessed value or taxable value after closing. You may also qualify for valuable exemptions, such as the Florida Homestead Exemption, which could reduce your property taxes.
